‘Let’s begin with a small writing exercise. Open your notebooks and write this – ‘What I love doing’ and under it write what you love doing’

Random Response # 1:Maths
Random Response #2: Running
Random Response #3: Baking Cookies
Random Response #4: Helping the blind cross streets
Random Response #5: Just being of help

Message: “You’re all great. Each one of you is great, please believe me, you are. And you can be whatever you want to be. Just want it too bad, too bad. Nothing will go wrong, the world belongs to those who try. Keep trying. Fear nothing.”

Principal: These are kids from the neighbourhood, their parents are maybe only literate, some are not. They are vegetable vendors, mechanics, auto rickshaw drivers, tailors etc., they have no idea what their kids are doing here – what a wonderful world of learning they inhabit. I want to give these kids as much as possible. Would you please come here every weekend and teach them some English?

Fighting An Additction

Not One MoreSeptember 12th, 2014
Addiction is a curse one allows upon one's self until it ceases to seek permission. I do not like the idea of a mind controlled by substance. If I can refrain for 30 days, I'd be very impressed with myself.
