Traveling Raconteur

Hola! Hope you're smiling :)

Julia’s Desk

now1Julia is a beautiful girl as those peacock quails,
she is as strong as the mountains on her calendar,
as beautifully gracious as the painting that she got in a gift from a special one,
as much in love with books and travel
and as delicate as the water spilling from the pots.

She has a big heart that loves her special friends – girls, boys, cats, little children like the ones who made her that paper lotus,
she is serene like a calm boat on a river on a summer day,
she’s inspiring as is the woman on her board – a gift from her hero, her mother,
she is earnest and I love listening to her over drinks and food – we often meet at HRC
and most of all, she is madly and deeply in love with her soul-sister – India.

And all this is only a little about Julia, you don’t need to see her to know this, her desk does the talking.

Fighting An Additction

Not One MoreSeptember 12th, 2014
Addiction is a curse one allows upon one's self until it ceases to seek permission. I do not like the idea of a mind controlled by substance. If I can refrain for 30 days, I'd be very impressed with myself.
