Traveling Raconteur

Hola! Hope you're smiling :)

Mood: The start of the book made me happy. Graham was still a young man, a freshly published writer who was excited about the reception of his work and its increasing popularity. A lad madly in love and utterly honest. But seasons changed and so did Graham, so much so that by the middle of the book, he began to disgust me and later, his life truly saddened me.

Post-Reading Thought: Is what he turned out to be a result of what is claimed to be bipolar disorder? I have a great difficulty understanding this. If that’s the case, how could he remain loyal to Yvonne for 12 years. Grahame is a great writer, a gifted writer, he is also a kind man, this is evident from his help to Raymond but he hurts, he hurt me in little bits. I find it very difficult to sympathize with this great guy.

Fighting An Additction

Not One MoreSeptember 12th, 2014
Addiction is a curse one allows upon one's self until it ceases to seek permission. I do not like the idea of a mind controlled by substance. If I can refrain for 30 days, I'd be very impressed with myself.
